Melissa Wilson is a prominent interior designer and color
specialist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a principal
of Wilson Stuart, she is intimately involved with the design
direction and details of each project.
She attempts to make design and color principles accessible
and, to that end, teaches adult education classes in the
community and appears regularly as a design expert on national
television. Her clients often get a design education along
with a well-designed home.
Her background as an interior designer includes extensive
formal training, an internship at the Color Association of
the Unites States, and work for two high-end local design
firms. Prior to becoming an interior designer, Melissa was
a public high school theater teacher. She holds an M.A. in
Education, and a B.A. in Theater and Psychology, from Stanford
University.
Her design approach reflects her total experience in interior
design, theatrical design and production, education, and
psychology. She creates environments that support her clients’ personal
vision.
